White’s Executive Chef, Cristiano De Martin is the driving force behind HOMEGROWN.  Constantly on the lookout to source the very best products, Cristiano spends many days visiting the farms and artisans who grow and create the ingredients used in his menus. 

Italian by birth, Cristiano is passionate about embracing all that NZ has to offer, and about sourcing the very best local produce. Trained in Europe, he uses an elegant cooking style that respects and promotes the beautiful flavours of NZ... simple, fresh and unpretentious.
